Are Evangelicals betraying the very heart of the Gospel for political power? In this bold and provocative discussion, we draw parallels between the biblical crowd that chose Barabbas over Jesus and modern-day Christians who have thrown their support behind Donald Trump. Has the promise of a quick fix to our cultural and political fears blinded us to the calling of Christ?
In a world where social bonds are fraying, loneliness is at epidemic levels, and digital screens replace human interaction, one question haunts us: where do we turn for connection, meaning, and community? Shared spaces once brought us together—parks, civic organizations, neighborhood gatherings—but now they are fading into history, leaving behind a fractured and fragmented society. Yet, amidst this decline, one institution has stood resilient: the Christian church. But even this pillar of community faces unprecedented threats, both from external forces seeking to marginalize it and from internal challenges that risk diluting its purpose. Today, we’ll explore why the church may be America’s last stronghold of true community—and why its survival is essential for the future of our fragmented society.\
Is the Tribulation really seven years long? Or is this a misunderstanding of Scripture? In this discussion, we uncover the surprising truth that the Tribulation is actually only 3.5 years long, beginning when the Antichrist is granted authority over the saints. Through a careful study of Daniel 9:27, Revelation 13:5, and Jesus’ own words in Matthew 24, we challenge a widely held belief and reveal a biblically accurate timeline of end-times events.
I’m posting this blog as a companion to an upcoming video which I posted here. The video is being made because of the response I received from the short bible study video I made about the rapture. So in this blog, we’ll deep dive into the idea of the rapture – where the idea comes from, what it means, and if there is any biblical support for it. Stick with me on this because I’ll be touching on a few themes and topics, then bringing it all together at the end. It’s also going to have some references from scholarly works – which is important to help support the stance I’m taking – I’ll put all the references at the end, so if you have further interest or would like to cross check my own research, you can do so. This is going to be a bit of a ride So buckle up.
